Saco Before

After. The Saco Motel Replenished me

This day was rough. Misqouitos like hell. worse then any maine bug. it was insane. but this hotel cost me 30 bucks. worth the night inside. i had some great food at the bar, which doubled ass the reception desk for the hotel.

other notes. doing fine here. work is good. i joined the YMCA and struggle every night to get atleast 12 laps in at the pool. harder than any 100 mile day on a bike. it blows my mind.

La Bonita General Store

This store was right across the boarder. it was windy and i had a very refreshing Coke inside. if you notice the tire on the back. thats because i was getting none stop flats with that piece of crap. i put my old Avocet on the front and rode that for… well shit. i think i ended up getting the metal out of that coiled up tire the following night. the store was cool. old school. out in the middle of nowhere. hay fields. Canada kicks ass

Norway was cool. it did end up raining. i liked biking through maine. so much so that i biked through maine on my way back home. i like the stores and houses. rain in NH sucked. i was rained on through NY and VT

Niagara Falls. the canadian side. very good times. i like my bike shot on this one. i think the bike fell over. the previous night was spent at a KOA. i hated KOA for the price and how they treated tenters. i think i slept on a leach field with crap coming out. i dont think i stayed at another after that experience. i like my reflectors on the bags. how cool

Lady in the Glass sign

So. the day before this was taken i was totally friggin beat. this shot was actually taken early in the monring the following day. some girl took it. the “lady in the glass” sign is on the original building. thanks to some old farts. some committee . they are trying to raise funds to get the neon to work. the bar no longer exists but they have good pizza. i tried to get a t shirt but the teenagers behind the counterdidnt know who to contact. from what i remember i started to feel better after this day. i stayed in a cool city park the next night then i started to see changes in the landscape. i hated Montana. i have told everyone this. westernmontana was cool. but i was so pissed off at Montana for sucking balls that i consider the whole state crap. they need to establish new boarders so montana can officially suck. its hard to say that with the coolness of Glacier.
